Description 

Residential #5 hinge for overhead sectional garage doors, for attaching to the fourth and fifth panels only. This hinge is only required on residential sectional garage doors 6 panels or higher. The floating roller shaft is inserted through the center of the hinge, and the hinge is easily attached to the door using metal Tek fixing screws. Can be used on single track and double track (low headroom) residential sectional garage doors.

Universal sectional garage door hinge suitable for most pre-fingersafe sectional & panelift garage doors.

Dimensions: 185mm long x 70mm wide

The hinge number is usually engraved on your existing hinge or you can work it out by counting which panel it is on, listed from the bottom of the door (panel 1 ) upwards.  The middle hinges are always number 1’s.

Garage door hinges are identified by location on the door they may also be stamped with a number. Usually, the hinges in the center of the door are always #1 and have a single sleeve.  

The hinges between the 2nd and 3rd panels will be #2 hinges. Those between the 3rd and 4th panels will be #3 hinges, and so on.
